Rafael (Rafi) joue de la batterie dans le groupe d’Alex Klein depuis 2022. Il est né et a grandi à Sursee (LU/Suisse), et dans sa jeunesse jouait déjà dans diverses formations jazz, big band et rock. Il a également été membre de l’orchestre du Stadttheater Sursee durant 20 ans en tant que batteur/percussionniste. C’est un peu par hasard que Rafael est arrivé dans la scène Country suisse en 2016, et il s’est depuis profilé comme un batteur Country passionné dans divers formations Country, jusqu’à ce qu’il trouve sa vocation avec le groupe d’Alex Klein.

Seit 2022 spielt Rafael (Rafi), geboren und aufgewachsen in Sursee (LU/Schweiz), Drums in der Band Alex Klein. Er spielte schon seit Jugendjahren in div. Jazz-, Big-Band- und Rock Formationen. Zudem war er 20 Jahre Mitglied im Orchester vom Stadttheater Sursee als Drummer/Perkussionist. Rafael gelangte zufällig in 2016 in die Schweizer Country Szene und profilierte sich als leidenschaftlicher Country-Drummer in verschiedenen Country Bands bis er seine Bestimmung in Alex Klein & Band gefunden hatte.
Rafael (Rafi) has been playing drums in Alex Klein’s band since 2022. Born and raised in Sursee (LU/Switzerland) he was in his youth already playing with various jazz bands, big bands and rock bands. He was also a member of the Stadttheater Sursee orchestra for 20 years as a drummer/percussionist. Rafael came into the Swiss Country scene a little bit by chance in 2016, and since then built a reputation as a passionate Country drummer in various Country bands, until he found his vocation in Alex Klein’s group.

Peter fait partie de l’orchestre d’Alex Klein depuis 2015. Il a grandi en Allemagne. A 7 ans il a eu son premier contact avec la musique au travers d’une formation classique de piano. Plus tard il a développé sa passion pour la basse. Dès l’âge de 15 ans en 1977 il a joué de la country, du rock et de la pop dans de nombreux orchestres. De par le contact avec Alex Klein en 2015 il a réalisé sa vocation et son amour pour la country music.
Peter ist seit 2015 in der Band Alex Klein. Aufgewachsen ist er in Deutschland. Mit 7 Jahren hatte er seinen ersten Kontakt zur Musik mit einer klassischen Klavierausbildung. Später entwickelte er seine Leidenschaft für den Bass. Ab 1977 mit 15 Jahren spielte er in unzähligen Bands Country, Rock und Pop. Mit dem Kontakt zu Alex Klein in 2015 hat er seine Berufung und Liebe zur Country Musik verfestigt.
Peter is part of Alex Klein’s band since 2015. He grew up in Germany. He had his first contact with music at the age of 7 with classical piano training. Later on he developed a passion for the bass. From 1977, at the age of 15, he played country, rock and pop in countless bands. When he came into contact with Alex Klein in 2015 he fulfilled his vocation and love for country music.
John a commencé son parcours musical à l’âge de sept ans avec l’alto, se produisant dans des orchestres pendant plus d’une décennie avant de se tourner, à 21 ans, vers la musique country et Americana. Au fil des années, il a tourné avec des formations renommées telles que le Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Southern Drawl Band, Mike Nash, Mitch Rossell et Kim Carson, et a partagé la scène avec des légendes comme T. Graham Brown, Chuck Berry, John McEuen, Pure Prairie League, Leona Williams, Darryl Worley, et bien d’autres encore. Installé aujourd’hui en Suisse, John continue de se produire aux côtés d’artistes talentueux comme Alex Klein, apportant à son public un mélange unique de précision classique et d’authenticité roots. Multi-instrumentiste polyvalent, il joue de l’alto, du violon, de la guitare acoustique et de la mandoline, et se montre aussi à l’aise en chant lead qu’en harmonies riches.

John begann seine musikalische Reise im Alter von sieben Jahren mit der Bratsche und spielte über ein Jahrzehnt lang in Orchestern, bevor er sich mit 21 Jahren der Country- und Americana-Musik zuwandte. Im Laufe der Jahre tourte er mit renommierten Formationen wie der Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, der Southern Drawl Band, Mike Nash, Mitch Rossell und Kim Carson und teilte die Bühne mit Legenden wie T. Graham Brown, Chuck Berry, John McEuen, Pure Prairie League, Leona Williams, Darryl Worley und vielen weiteren. Heute lebt John in der Schweiz und tritt weiterhin mit talentierten Künstlern wie Alex Klein auf, wobei er seinem Publikum eine einzigartige Mischung aus klassischer Präzision und authentischem Roots-Sound bietet. Als vielseitiger Multiinstrumentalist spielt er Bratsche, Violine, akustische Gitarre und Mandoline und ist sowohl als Leadsänger als auch mit ausdrucksstarken Harmoniestimmen gleichermaßen zuhause.
John began his musical journey at the age of seven with the viola, performing in orchestras for more than a decade before shifting his focus to country and Americana music at 21. Over the years, he has toured with renowned acts such as the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Southern Drawl Band, Mike Nash, Mitch Rossell, and Kim Carson, and has shared the stage with legends including T. Graham Brown, Chuck Berry, John McEuen, Pure Prairie League, Leona Williams, Darryl Worley, and many more. Now based in Switzerland, John continues to perform with talented artists such as Alex Klein, bringing his unique blend of classical precision and roots authenticity to audiences. A versatile multi-instrumentalist, he plays viola, violin, acoustic guitar, and mandolin, and is equally at home delivering lead vocals or rich harmonies.
